Build a HTML Mockup of your Site as Part of your Development Plan
The HTML Mockup is the last stage of a site development plan.
The key is to determine what part of the design must be converted to HTML, and what part must be optimized as images.
A knowledge of XHTML and CSS will help decide what parts of the design are doable.
Other considerations are:
- Download time
- Browser compatibility
- Use of tables for layout
- Semantic markup
- How Search Engines spider a site
- Fonts and white space for easy reading and skimming of information

- Discovery
- Wireframing
- Storyboarding

- Copywriting
- Rough Sketching
